Son of Tonight (aka Tonight Part 2)

We are going to see this and ...

this. I can't wait. I need a funny movie after a scary movie or I just can't sleep at night.

I bought our tickets online yesterday. The Happening opens tonight and I was worried about lines. Although during Siff, the big box office movies don't seem all that popular.

Have a great Friday night. Hugs. xox=vv.

Tonight.

We are going to see this.

[Update]

We also saw this.

Both were great! The fall was a delight. Easy to grasp (don't believe the reviews) and Cantinca Untaru was pure charm. Priceless was a nice surprise. Toss-in some fabulous sushi and a tiny show house and the evening was terrific.

I hope yours was too. Hugs. xox=vv.

It's okay, I promise.

After a couple of very cute comments by some very lovely girls I feel the need to address the issues of ghosties in a new post.

To start, ghost hunters is a very mild show. It is a group of researchers who take gear with them to "haunted" places. I enjoy the show because I am skeptical. It makes me feel a bit less fearful because they are constantly de-bunking the ghostly anecdotes.

You see, I am super scared of ghosties too. The other night I slept with the light on because I was afraid of what I was reading in Spook (yep. READING). The funniest part? I was reading about the hallucinogenic affects of sound and electro-magnetism. There are theories that ghosts are really just figments of our imaginations that are brought on by sound or energy in our environments.

That was scarier to me. The idea of ghostie hallucinations seems worse than a real ghostie. All-in-all, I am extremely happy to be out of the spacious suburbs and into the cramped city. I just feel safer.

A big hug. xox=vv.

There Are Things To Share.

I promise. New things to share very, very soon. Later today, I hope. In the mean time, I am looking forward to tonight's new episode of ghost hunters. I really love this show.

I find the scientific topic of another existence extremely interesting. I just finished Spook by Mary Roach and it was a quick and delightful read.

I am having trouble uploading pictures. I am also swamped and sick and missing you all terribly. Hugs! xox=vv.

A Must See.

"Madame Tutli-Putli boards the Night Train, weighed down with all her earthly possessions and the ghosts of her past.
She travels alone, facing both the kindness and menace of strangers. As day descends into dark, she finds herself caught up in a desperate metaphysical adventure. Adrift between real and imagined worlds, Madame Tutli-Putli confronts her demons and is drawn into an undertow of mystery and suspense."

Speak Of The Cloned Devils.

Hi Lovelies. Well, after yesterday's post I thought I better share this Daily Show clip with you. It is pretty funny while still entirely frightening.

On another note, I like the idea of this. Hugs. xox=vv.

Late Late Late Night With Conan O’Brien.

It is 4:45 am. We set the alarm clock to wake us at 4, so that we could watch the repeat showing of Conan’s trip to Finland. I accidentally erased it before Si could watch it. We tried to record it, but for some strange reason the d.v.r. won’t allow us to tape this show, and only this show, this show that airs at 4 am and only 4 am.

Oh well, this episode is worth it. You can even see clips for a limited time here (highlights/video moments) and the best part is that you don’t have to set your alarm clock to go off at 4 am. You can if you want to. I mean if you really want the “vegasandvenice” “Conan in Finland Experience”, well then you probably should set your clock. Go ahead I will wait here.

Conehead And The Sad Tiny Kittens.

Well, Squiddles is doing well so far. His eye is healing nicely. It is tough for him though since he has to wear an Elizabethan collar. However he seems spry and playful.

Sam and Sophie on the other hand are overly playful. They are confined to our master bedroom and my walk-in closet. Sadly they have to be separated for 10 days and I think it is a bit hard on the siblings. They meow at each other a lot through the door and it kind of breaks your heart. Since we can not reunite them any sooner, we have found a simple resolution to their sadness, we simply turn up the t.v. till we can’t hear them any more.

I must admit it works well. The Daily Show has always been the worthy opponent of sad little kittens.
